Saw these is a seafood bar in China.

They are clams and they are from the shells directly above them.
I think the Chinese name has something to do with elephant's trunk.

They look like gooey ducks (geoduck) from the Pacific North West, Washington/British Columbia area. They are farmed in the ocean there.
