what no show pictures anymore

mayhem used to place show pictures for us all to enjoy is that a thing of the past.

... and on the other hand Martin is much more busy to keep the forum alive! Though we can`t blame him anyway- he keeps a ground for this herd of Modelmayhemensis Extremicus running  ;)

Sorry for the lack of updates on Mayhem but  Jan's right, the Puffer is a great build but it's not for the faint hearted... the instructions tell you what to do but not how to do it! I personally think building a real Puffer would be quicker!   ::)

I'm just working on the mast this week and all the associated knitting!

Jan, sieh es mal positiv: Bei dem bau eines solch aufwändigen Modells  kommst du schon nicht in Versuchung dich in irgendwelche Kneipen zu verirren. Bei mir zuhause sieht es gerade ähnlich aus- ich bin am Bau der Sir Lancelot von Mountfleet.
Seltsamerweise finde ich diesen Baukasten "stressiger" zu bauen, wie wenn ich komplett nach Plan baue....  :D

Das diese Bausätze, die ihren Namen noch zu recht verdienen, schwierig zu händeln sind hat Martin schon des öfteren beklagt. Das Ergebnis entschädigt aber am Ende  ;D
Ich jedenfalls ziehe sämtliche Hüte und Mützen vor Martin, hes just a great guy  :)

Mich hat das Modell schon immer gereizt- deshalb habe ich mir auch den Baukasten zugelegt. Aber das nächste wird doch wieder nach Plan.... ::)

About Martin- no additional comments necessary. His effort is very much appreciated... created a home for the tired bones of Grumpy old gits and those, which will become such...... ;D

Die Highlander, der 66 ft West Highland Coaster. Ein typischer Vertreter dieser Art. Hier mal ein Bild von einen fertigen Mountfleet Puffer...
