Got me waterproof gazebo this morning, already now just need to charge the boats batteries

chingie, that sounds like an idea!

I will be bringing a ni-cad charger with me as well, and may bring my gel cell charger as well, so if anyone has a genny spare, we will have battery charging. oddly I will have to get my tent out as I can't (officially) sleep in my minivan

, however if I do some late night charging I WILL be staying with the van as its 2 litre diesel engine will be idling so i dont drain the battery.

(be warned it makes a chinook helo or a top fuel drag car seem quiet!

A word of warnign here Ghost make sure you are at the OTHER end of the field as I will not have my sleep or even my evening RUINED by someone having a dammed car engine running to charge dammed batts you have been warned I MEAN IT

i'd use FAST CHARGE to get it done, so be no more than 30 mins. I plan to do my battery charging on the drive down there. and last year I bloody froze under 2 sleeping blankets. ya got a greenhouse heater stav i can use in my tent?

hey blackpool had 3 blow over at once. however if last year is anything to go by, then we may have to rescue a couple. two almost blew away, one was my tent WITH ME IN IT

yes it was pretty windy. chances are it could be nasy again, (its law, its a bank holiday), i plan on getting a small greehouse heater, (pint bottle sized kerosene thing) to heat my tent as it also got bloomin cold that night. nord icelandia will be in the van.

friday night was a peach, totally still until 6am saturday am

it'll be fine :), the pint ones hang, so it won't be at risk of falling over and spilling.

last year i had 2 sleeping bags and couldnt get warm, and wit no heaters in the astra i couldnt use that to keep warm

if like you mentioned your tent blows over .. Well I would not like to think about it.. GET a better sleeping bag , get a double douvet, sleep on half put other half around you .

Certainly use the heater (vented) while you are awake but not when asleep.

If you park your boats in my gazebo NO SCULL AN CROSS BONES FLAG this year. Andy if it does not rain this year that will be a first.

Heater in a tent what a wimp, get a blanket or as BB has said................ no perhaps not
