tamiya tank dmd units

hi all,i have a couple of tamiya tanks,yes the expensive ones,there must be some electrical wizzards on here ;) the m26 pershing tank firstly,on turning her on,the engine noise will start and pushing the throttle stick foreward and back makes the appropriate noise,revving!but the tang doesnt move,ifi dissconnect the mf 03 multi function unit then dissconnect the battery,re conect the battery with the mf 03 dissconnected the tank moves foreward and back,if i then reconnect the mf 03 i dont get the noises..also the sound of machine gun,lights and recoil doest work on this one or the king tiger,,could this be a transmitter fault?i use the same tx for both  tanks but change the crystal,,any help ,please,please,is this just me,,, {:-{darren

HIYA,YES THEY ARE,,THESE KITS ARE ANYTHING FROM £500.00 UPWARDS,THE SPARES ARE AVAILABLE FROM TAMIYA ,THEY ARE ALSO AVAILABLE ON EBAY,THE SOUND AND SPEED CONTROL ARE IN THE REGION OF A £100.00 EACH,,

when I was in servic I was aa specialist in the armor devision and I was classified as a tank driver
my mode of transportation was an M42A1 a sherman tank with an autoloader pom pom gun
I was in the National Guard and never saw any real action as it werebut one year while on manuvers at Ft Stewrt Ga, our Ex officer reconed our camping site and it was in the middle of the impack area
when the STA tanks began firing the shells were coming down all around us
a couple of the guys were hit with sharpenel  on died from his wounds the rest of us took cover behind and under what ever we culd find the shield us from the shells one duce and a half was obliterated one jeep recieved major damage
I was near a com set and I guess that I was the only ne with sense enough to use it at the moment
I punched the send button and began to scream "Cease fire, cease fire company C in the impack area I repeat company in the impact area" the shelling ceased almost immediately
the next day our company moved and we took to the line
our tank crew set all kinds of shooting racords that day shot down two arcats within seconds of their take offs

Hi Dazz,these DMD,and MF01 modules are the biz i,ve had them fitted into all the tanks i,ve ever had,for the money ,there the best simulation of a Tiger,i know some guys go on about the Benedini sound modules,but i think the Tamiya,s are the best,i,ve got one in my latest Tiger-1,see pic
