That's strange because I'm sure I saw that tank as well. Must be losing me marbles  :-) :-)

Now, Bunkerbarge, I throw the cat amongst the pidgeons here and say.....A tank COULD be related to model boating if..................
...................as in my case I have been thinking about converting one of these models into either a "Talus", "Case" or "Cayton" launching tractor for the RNLI.
I would like to convert one for launching my model lifeboats from a launch trailer, but before I invest quite considerable money in such a kit, does anyone know how easy the tracks and wheel base could be shortened.
Has any of our many faceted modellers done such a jobbie on a tank, and if so how well did it go please.
Many thanks for any information.
Neil. :-))

Bunkerbarge if you read the rules posted on the sales topic they do not stipulate what can or cannot be sold.

The moderators had a chat about this only recently and decided that we should allow only model boat related stuff as we had had requests for some very non model boat related items.  Perhaps the tank was removed as a result of this, I wasn't aware so I'm only guessing.  We are after all a model boat forum and not a cheap alternative to other selling sites and Martin kindly lets us use the forum to sell on model boat related items for the general good of the hobby.

I would suggest that if you are in any doubt about the item then ask before posting, I'm sure that anything even remotely connected to model boating would be allowed but, as with everything, Martins decision is final.

The rules are currently under review to reflect this.
