Hello People. This weekend of the 4th and 5th of April the Jersey Lionpark Model Boat Club had the boat show in sunny Jersey. 

 

   

This Steamer built by Bill Jame's was my favorite boat of the show. With about 150 boat's on display including a few of our (my father and me) boat's, the show was a hit yet again. Last year the proceeds went the the new Jersey lifeboat appeal, this year they went to the Jersey Hospice Care. The show was held at St Brelarde's Parish Hall in the beautiful bay of St Aubin

  You can see more picture's of the show at www.jerseymodelboats.com. Some of us are holding a model boat making workshop at the Harbour Gallery in St Aubin.   

   

 

 

Starting from the 24th of April for nine week's, this has been set up to help real boat owner's to have a go at making static or RC boat's for the first time. We will be holding a Exhibition on the 11 12 13th of April when we will be taking some boat's for people to see what can be done with a bit of patent's and time before they start the course. Dad's   IMARA

   

   and the 7 foot plus Arleigh Burke,    

 

and some of our smaller boat's like the Lady Jan and the Yamato. .
