New England Model Boating Activity
« on: October 07, 2006, 12:52:27 pm »

Hi

I'm off to New England on Monday for two weeks. Any member have info on model Boat club activity in the region that I might 'accidently stumble' across as I drive the wife around?

Cheers

Doug,

New England is a fabulous place. The natives are friendly and will do most anything to make your stay as welcome as possible. It is a very safe bet that somebody there will point you in the right direction. Also safe to say that there will be plenty for you both to enjoy.

Do have a wonderful holiday.

Regards to you and your XYL.

Bit of a mistake going to New England then - it's b****y freezing in winter.

Couple of years ago was there in January - they warned me it was zero, mentally I put that in Centigrade and packed accordingly. It was Farenheit - about -16C. It was a bad sign as the plane flew in over Long Island Sound and the sea was frozen.
