Hi all, I`m in the process of buying a MMB electric motor and it needs to be water cooled. Can someone tell me if the piping needs to be 6mm or 10mm dia to go around the motor. Regards Pete

10mm is huge, you never get that to bend around a small motor. 4mm or so I would have thought would be better.

I usually use 1/8" - 3.2mm or 5/32" - 4mm Ali or copper pipe as cooling tube round a 550 size motor.

10mm is miles to big.

...and a motor mount with cooling slots helps to let air into the motor.

Many thanks gents, the motor I am going to use is a MMB900, which is quite a hefty beast. Great photo`s by the way.  Pete
