im doing my head in ( and my other half) which model to build next. its between the tyne, mersey and the ann letitia russell. however as we speak i have gone off the tyne(untill tomorrow) but i do really like the ann letitia russell, shes got a great hull and great lines also she looks like a lifeboat as i remember them. it would be also a great display model in the home as well as rc. ive got a rother class which is a superb model, my theory is ive got a orange one so build something a bit differant. however i have always liked the mersey. any appions are appreciated, as anybody built the ann letitia russell kit ,whats its like etc.

I've got one, well, really just the grp mouldings, the plans and a few (very few) fittings. I've got to scratch build most of it...

It's a pity Neil left, as he designed and originally marketed the kit.

The Ann Letitia is a great model to build although the cabins are quite laborious to get the wood veneer effect, turns out into a lovely lifeboat though  :-))

A very nice looking model. Saw this boat launched a few times at Fleetwood when I were but a nipper (used to live a stone's throw from the Lifeboat House on Pharos Street with the bliddy big lighthouse on our doorstep!) Still, saved mum and dad's leccie bill at night!

yerss...that's the bit I'm currently doing (in veneer, as I couldn't get hold of the wood-effect paper that's supplied in the kit) ...
