aeronaut "a good make"?

hi, thinking about getting one of of the aeronaut large battleship models, could anybody recommend
them, or tell me what their quality is like, thanks pat.

I considered getting one until discovering that, aside from the hull, the rest of the kit is basically plywood & needs a lot of detailing to make it shine.  The fittings assortment is good, but I believe needs to be purchased separately.

A friend in HKG built their 1/200 Prinz Eugen, but used only the hull & scratch built the rest using a Jaro paper model as templates.  He also used GPM photo etch which he swears by for its value
over others.  I've got many photos of his build that I'll be happy to send via email if you're interested.
