Swift (Flash) software
« on: August 06, 2009, 12:30:08 pm »

Are there any Mayheres that are Graphical Designers ( insert joke or quip here! ) on board?

http://www.swishzone.com/

I'm looking at buying Swift Flash authorizing software and would like a bit of advice...... about whether I need Max or can get away with MiniMax for creating/tailoring "Effects"..... help?!?

I'm a Flash developer, using the fully-leaded version of Flash.

To answer your question, there doesn't seem to be much in it, in terms of functionality. And I note that the ads all offer upgrades one way or another to the Max2 option, which seems "ok" for £100. (Full Flash is ~7 times this). Perhaps they're trying to lever their customers into this version?

As to the effects on offer - do we want them all over "our" Mayhem?!  :o

And, more to the point, will they run on everyone's computers?

You see, there you lot go, jumping to conclusions!!!  <*<

1. Flash is disabled in the Forum full stop!
2. You can export Swish to .gif
3. You don't even know what I want it for! I might even have a life outside of this forum... I haven't.... but I might have!!!!

Boo! They should be on!  :}

(I often wake up dreaming in ActionScript 3.0)  :embarrassed:

Andy

(If you fancy, PM what you want, Martin - and I'll definitely put time aside. I should end up with loads of free time after August. Though "be warned" this'll slow my plating-n-planking!)
