time for other hobbies , i wish i had more !
with a young family dont have alot of spare time, but i do try and fit in N scale model railways, electric RC model aircraft, power kites, and growing rare types of japanese maple trees !

OOOOPS!! bet you had some fun getting the bike out of there last time i came off my bike it took 3 blokes to lift it off my leg (it was a kawasaki gtr 1000 a bit heavy!!!!) still it was my own fault really i got in the way of a stupid doddery old woman who could hardly walk, let alone drive she was going the WRONG WAY round a roundabout!!!!!

Unfortunately here in China its mostly work, work, work... I just got off of a seven-day holiday & spent half of that in factories or the office.

Of course, if I was younger & not married, there would certainly be another hobby I'd love to get deep into but I that would probably mean even less time for my main interest... model boating!

Am seriously thinking of getting back into scale gliders (4 metre span). Had to give it up before I really start at that scale as I needed an aero tow and no one at the plank club was interested in building a tug.

But now you can fit these http://www.icare-rc.com/self_launch_systems.htm#Belt_Driven_SLS which means no more glider tugs and self launch off the ground. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Hi Rick - I was with a crowd of club members a couple of weeks ago when we were getting ready for a club open day. When all the Gazebos, signs and other bits and pieces were ready we decided to just hang around for a bit and chat. Some said what are we going to chat about - so one of the members said how about recalling our first ever sex experience - my trouble was I couldn't even remember my LAST..... LOL

..... sorry folks, been away this summer with my mates doing races scale 1:5. Powered by 23ccm 2-stroke engine, 3,1 hp it`s good enough for 55 mph. It`s deadweight is about 10 Kilograms. We have decided to built up the cars of the German Master Racing series, mine is the silver/red one.
It`s not that I am bored by boating, just had the need to make something different to open mind and catch up new ideas.

Sitting outside on a hot race with 4 other guys, destroying some sixpacks and enjoying yourself- what else can you ask for? ::)

Anyway, back again!
