can my 14.4v esc handle 16.8v

Hi the subject says it all I'm running too 7.2v batterys but would my esc handle too 8.4v batterys. I'm not sure what esc it is.

YES but only for about 3 seconds and then it wont handle anything, the Ghost is correct. what esc is it as some wont because of the bec.

the only pic handy of it i have right now is this one i know it not very clear when i get back to the uk ill take a better pic and post it up.
