Marcus
Just in case any of our other viewers might be confused, the photo included on your posting is the Envoy tug from Model Slipway, which is similar in size and appearance to the Mountfleet Cruiser. I've built the armed version of Envoy and can thoroughly recommend it provided you follow the plans and instructions carefully. I have seen a truly terrible example built by a well-known "modeller" who professes never to need instructions or plans. I could have cried. I've never built a Mountfleet kit but I have heard they are very good in terms of detail.

Marcus,
Get yourself a copy of "Scale Model Tugs and Trawlers" by Tom Gorman. ISBN no. 1-85486-188-3. The build of Cruiser and many relevent issues regarding tugs is covered in this book.
