Sadley the price of metals has gone throught he roof. So new stock will cost a lot.

Also the pound has taken a hit.
A few months ago $2- pound.
now $1.30 sth.

So any recently imported stuff will be hammered.

Shopping around for old stock is the best idea.

Tigger,

Prop Shop is a UK-based company manufacturing to order in the UK. Ok they will be buying in non-ferrous metals and the price of these has gone up but it has been high for some time. Thus the 'imports" argument only partly applies.

I would have thought the value of metal in a model prop was a same part of the total price
