Can any one out there help me. Thanks to DickyD I managed to get a set of plans for the "Surcouf" but they are a little short of detail. Is there a plastic kit any where of this vessel, which might help me with the detail.

Thanks very much "snowwolflair " for the data on the Surcouf. I will get them blown up and with the photos will endevoure to construct the vessel. Are there any tips you could impart. To give you some of my background, I am an engineer by trade having worked on submarine construction for 17 years. I am currently refurbishing a 1962 O boat, namely "ONYX" which is berthed at BAE in Barrow in Furness. So you can see I am conversant with submarines. Thanks again.

Just in case you've missed it and in answer to your original post, Heller used to produce a 1:400 model and you get the odd one appearing on e-bay.
