I don't think I've ever seen a Cheddar Models lorry, you'll have to post some photos when it's done.

It's R/C! How cool is that?

I'd love to see what they'd make of that at Mendip Raceway, our local R/C car racing circuit  :}

Prob better than last time I raced there, but it was in the days of the PB international, and the circuit was new then.

I found the cct for the first time around that time. I was a keen 1/12th indoor racer and needed somewhere to run in a new car. The drivers stand was just scaffolding!

A few years later I joined up and raced 1/8th for a while then left only to return five years later with my son, when we raced 1/5th and 1/10th, but the club got too popular and the committee got a bit silly and I have not been back since.

Interesting in the close up of Peters United Africa truck to see that there is a lever with rod attached at the bottom of what I presume is the lubricator in the steam line to the engine. Is this a way of varying the amount of oil according to the load or is it some sort of throttle built in to the lubricator or is it ??? Thanks, Ian.

It's the steering servo look at the first picture you can gust see it's a servo, it's just a plain Cheddar displacment lube. with a auto gas valve you get about 40 min I am told or 30 without, need a flat surface for it but it has springs
