paravane rescue grapple
« on: December 12, 2009, 03:05:46 pm »

Hi all

I have seen people using a grapple type paravane towed behind a tug for rescueing other boats.

Any of you have designs or plans for a good example??

No one at all?

I am sure I have seen them. Its a couple of metres long towed with ploats and hook at end to hook to broken down boats prop, rudder etc.

There was something on RC groups used in an event at a tug-towing competition, but there are no plans available.  You will have to make your own.
