I am quite happy with my nuclear power plant thank you and I find the 'glow in the dark' feature very handy for night sailing on the pond.  :P

while most of our model boat folks are still hesitate on the use of LiPol cells, I couldn't see your high tech power plant will come into any popularity in the next 30 years.....  {-)

Mmmmmmmm.

With the way some people have difficulty with battery power....I shudder to think what they would end up doing...or blowing up with Hydrogen cells !

read a bit about the A123 cells bit not from model sources i know a few model people sell them still very little info as they where supposed to be the next big thing but maybee that is just in full size use.

They were 'billed' as more tollorant to mis-use and mis-handling than the LI-PO`s, but they dont seem to have caught on !

The LiFe cells/A123 are readily available everywhere it seems but the UK and Sweden %) I have been looking at them just for a receiver battery and ready made packs are availble from Graupner but the cost is quite high.
They have found their place in aircraft and helos more than boats so far. Essentially can take a higher charge current, not liable to self combust, less liable to damage, no requirement for a voltage regulator for use with receiver or servo as they are 3,3V each, hold their charge for ever (well not quite  :D) and a long cycle life.

For a good read up on them try RC Groups http://www.rcgroups.com/batteries-and-chargers-129/?s=69db3ae8b10210a04eedf49ad7699a23&
and/or RC Universe. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_84/tt.htm
