Hi I did something like that about 30+ years ago and some months later my wife bought me a dress for my birthday.
It was a nice fit, pity about the top half though!
Merry Christmas to all, Roy

Got my wife an OO scale hornby royal scot class loco (Inneskillen Rifles) with 3 orient express carriages as her Crimbo pressie. Carriages have lights in them that come on when the train moves. Should have got the DCC version but bought the wrong one  :((

Oh well, will have to get a decoder and fit it myself!

Have some layout designing softeware and Im trying to come up with an interesting layour for the spare garage.
Thought you'd get away with that and no one would notice--------Spare garage indeed.

Ah! But my missus has always gone on about having a train layout. Plus, as my birthday is just over a week before Christmas, she'd have to wait nearly a year if she wanted to be awkward.

Dicky, yes it really is a spare garage as her car sleeps on the drive (now).
