 :-))

Hi all.

I just joined this great forum and am looking forward to getting information from you.

I have been building models for over 60 and still love it.

I am into building RC airplanes, G Gage Trains, and dollhouses and yes ship models.

I am currently working on the Deans Liberty Ship - Robert E Peary.

My next project will  be the Model Slipways Our Lass II.

Next in the line up is the Caldercraft Brannaren Tanker.

I would appreciate any building comments and help I could get from you any of these models.

I am most interested in any ideas for the R E Peary since it is my current project.

I really like the clubs that you all have in the UK.  There just isn't anything like them in my area - Las Vegas, Nevada.

Look forward to hearing from you with your ideas.

Always,

Bill M

Hi DickyD,

I loved your web site.

I think it might be worth a trip over to the UK just to attend one of your events.

How do I convince my wife how great it would be?????

Bill, happy building on the Peary.  We will need plenty of photos you know.  I have plans for a Victory Ship about 57 inches that I haven't started yet.  Really wanted plans for a Liberty Ship but I messed up my order.  I am in Texas and I am surprized we don't have any clubs  on our coast (like fishing boat, tugs), quite a few "fast" boat clubs though within Tx.

Hi Ray,

Where did you get your plans?

Do they have plans for a Liberty Ship?

Do the plans show the rigging details?

Thanks much,

Bill,  got the plans from http://www.taubmansonline.com/   just go to the alphabetic list and click on the letter of the name of the ship you are looking for.  Mine is under "V" for Victory Ship.  It does have a little detail, not much.      I think they do have plans of some Liberty Ships by name.     Ray
