Anyone know what this is.  {:-{ {:-{
Why and where would you use it.
It is named as companding servo arm???

1) the PINK cronical cones screw themselves toward the respective PINK flange
2) then the pair of PINK flanges bite/bight on a central thinge

I reckon it's for an aeroplane control surface, closed loop system.

The threaded rod passes through the surface (rudder most likely) the washer and threaded cones clamp it all up and steel 'laystrate' cables run from the brass links to the servo.

you could use it for control on one of those outrigger rudders on an off-shore racer....don't ever think it's nothing to do with boats, more you haven't discovered what to use it for......yet.
