If we are going to ban the swastika, then we should also ban the Union flag.  All this wringing of hands by the politicians making out that we are above any dreadfull acts should re-visit the UNABRIDGED history books of our various exploits in different parts of the world which we like to think of as liberation.  I would remind the readers that the British invented concentration camps in the Boer war and allowed 26,000 women and children to starve to death. Then of course there are the Maoris and the Aborigines and countless others that we 'helped'.  I think the saying goes 'let him who is without sin cast the first stone'
While I am on the subject of Germany I am sick to death of people like the political establishment and especially the BBC talking about Nazi forces when they refer to the German armed forces. The Nazi party was a political grouping NOT a nation.  If we carry this logic through, we should be calling our forces in Iraq and Afghanistan 'Labour forces'.  I rest my case.
