My first step would be to fire off an email to The National Archives of Scotland, they have thousands of clyde built ships drawings  :-))
I`m just leaving to attend the Launch of Hms Duncan,I`ll sniff around and see if anyone can point me in the right direction ok2

Hi David,
Made some enquires at the launch today, apparently the Mitchel Library in Glasgow is the place to go,the drawings for most of the ships built by Govan Ship Builders now reside there  :-))

Aye it was good mate, apparently this was to be the last slipway launch for a warship in the UK,all the rest will be prefabricated and assembled in dock.
So the end of an era mate.
Thousands turned up,I put that down to the good weather, all in all a very good day  :-))
(better than working any day :})

I read an artical on it, Govan ship yard say that will prob be the last time they do any ship like that, they'll build them in a dry dock or on rafts.
