I sunk my fishing trawler (well a gust of wind did) earlier this year, it spent a good hour on the bottom. When got it out and home I stripped all the electrics out, rinsed them off in clean water, nothing to loose by then and wanted to get rid of any nasties from the lakewater. Able to split the receiver casing (was using one from DX6i) and put everything in the airing cupboard for couple of days. All worked fine when reassembled, receiver, mtroniks controller, servo, decaperm motor, battery, the lot. Think I was lucky, only casualty was one deck figure that suffered burial at sea! I was just fortunate that it capsized only couple of feet from lakeside, couldn't see it though as about five foot deep and murky, got it out with adapted fishing pole with hook on end that one of our sailors keeps in his car! All good fun...Dave.
