hi all.
just got told by dave c that they are not going to run a trip to next years dortmund model show .
there is not the numbers to put on a coach trip.
so i have been getting some prices to try and run a trip myself with a local firm running luxury mini coaches.
i'm pricing the trip  on going on the 12th and getting back home on the sat 16th, so will be one day less than the old trip.
planning on still picking up from padiham and hull and staying in the same hotel in west dortmund.
have got a list of names from dave c but would like to know if there was any intrest from anyone here has the firmdo 16 and 24 seaters.
should have a price by this weekend so will let dave know to pass on the news. the trip will be starting fron workington/cockermouth area so may suit some more local modelers.

Sorry to hear you haven't enough people for your coach trip

 I booked easeyjet from Luton to Dortmund for £55.00 return and the Mercure hotel in the centre of Dortmund for £38.00 p/p per night including brecky !

got myself and a couple of mates booked from manchester and the ibis hotel sorted today.
not as cheap has your flights but still well in budget so see you there

Not that I could have gone but what was the likely cost on the coach ?

hi there.
the original trip was £480 this year. i got the mini coach down to £400 but this was one day shorter trip and i needed the 16 people or it would not work out. so we are flying this time, just will not buy anything large or heavy.
