ive had a power delux since i was seven im now 12 and its still working the battery gave way about one and a half years ago and i had to put a new servo in and in doing that realized that it wasnt compatible with normal ones so took out all the bits and electrics and replaced them with some that had been in an old boat and is still runing of course i know its not going to last forever becuase of the uv light from the sun will make the hull go stale the original 550 geard motore is still runing ive put navigation lights nothing has been replaced exept from the speed controller servo radio but that was becuase i was fed up of the transmiter which broke twice second time i got a new one but soon got anoyed with it so the orginal gear last three and a half years when i dicided i wanted new gear and the servo was going to his(its) death bed and if youve been modeling for a while you will probaly have a twenty five amp speed controller and a futuba 2 chanel radio hanging about it be came a bit rusty but just painted it silver
(as well as the rusty old motor just in case the critic looks in side!) so i think this is a brilliant boat if you want to see pics just ask!
