Peter, I paid thirty pounds for one of these about 5-6 years ago and I had to change the bearing and straighten the blades so my guess would be around fifty pounds.  You might get more as it is a rare piece.

I'm very sorry to hear you are having to stop building, that is a terrible shame.

Does that mean you'll have more time to be the resident 'grumpy old man' on here?  >>:-(  O0 {-)

I'm hopping to be able to finish some of the projects i have started but I had accumulated  parts to build till I was 90 and beyond, at present I cannot use any machines after grinding part of me away and not noticing same goes for sharp things , I get stickey and cannot feel it so it is paint and bolting together from now on, glue is OK  oh I think steam may be out because the only time I know I am burning is when I smell pork

and yes I am mr  Grumpy  {-)

Peter

So sorry to hear your news. The problem must have appeared relatively recently:

From someone who should no better about gas etc,( I play steam) I was filling my small gas lighter the type you use for lighting the gas etc, I use one for heat shrink and when filling with a Ronson type can it spits everywhere, so if you do it over a bench it lays there for a bit , so if you then try to shrink tome wires laying on it  WHOOOSH  no hair on hands arms etc, and a trip to the bathroom , (I know how jos Verstapin the F1 driver felt) any way it wakes you up..

Peter

Is there no treatment?

Regards,

no treatment , It has been happening for a long time it has been acelated possible by medication for other problems but it has got to be a problem with a few acedents and  falls that I have decided to get rid of things I will never be able to build now and just try and Finnish a few projects that are very close to being finished, I have a few models that have only need paint to Finnish I hate paint but I should be able to do that, I did like to have half a dozen projects going at once then change when I hit a problem so I could think about it I stooped finishing my tug because i had made about ten towing bows and did not like them so left it for two years ill know paint one of them and the rest of the boat,

Thanks for all the good wishes but ill be about for a bit just not building as much.

Peter, although you say you can post to known bidders or countries the listing on Ebay will not let me bid because you have specified "Ships to United Kingdom only". I get a message that says "You cannot bid on this itemas seller does not ship to your location". Can you please change the listing to "Ships worldwide" so I can bid. Thanks, Ian (in New Zealand).
