Copper coloured paint
« on: November 05, 2010, 04:47:57 pm »

On several of my models, the hull is sprayed in a lovely metal coppery looking paint. As I didn't spray them, I was wondering if the paint is a common modellers variety?
It's not red lead colour, more metallic than that, any ideas anyone?
Thanks

could be a plasticoat paint, I gave used their chrome finish a few times on various things (latest was on some plane white radiator pipe covers at my mums house  {-) no point in paying £10 for a pack when you have white ones and chrome paint.) This gives quite a good finish, and I know they also do an aluminium finish as well.
