 :-) :-)
Just to let you know the funny way to play with steam.
We do this every year in our Atlantica meeting!
Everybody has to have the same hull and 3cc engine max.
After you compete through a labyrinth of buoys. Time and agility are noted. The winner gets a medal.
That's all fun and those small boats are wonderfull on the water, above all when they are all together.
Mine is the last blue one w/ tires on sides. Almost finished!
Have fun! O0

Hello! :-)
The hulls are 56cm x 27cm. Easy to put in the boot of your car, kiss mom and spend the week end w/ friends ;). They are made in Belgium and cost 50€.
Let me know if you are interested, I must have the link somewhere in my database.
Cheers! :-)

I would say that the hull can carry 2.5Kg to 3 Kg max to stay in her line.
If I have anything tonight I pass it to you.

Good morning! :-)
Exactly Bjorn! You got it.   ok2
So KNO3 can get in touch with him.
I also love very muvh the photo 10.  O0 Different & original way to work the hull out! :-))
I hope you all come to St Savinien (near Saintes) next year. The more we are, the more fun we have. And life is sweet there.
By the way, Anton supplies the "Quartz" with the support , propeller shaft & propeller. It nicely fits inside . But other small engines are good also. O0
I have a thought for some friends sailing this morning  towards Varwick! Good wind, good sea, I doubt that the beer will flow on board! {-) {-) and they may be a bit yellow reaching the British shore! O0 %)
Have a good day! :-))

Oh, I would love to !
 :D

But LOL - I know my spouse answer if I suggest 'Let's go to France so I can play with steam boats & drink beer with some nice firends !'
 {:-{

OTOH - Hell actually freezes over now & then and lovely France have so much else to offer...
 %) %) :}

Thanks for the link. So it looks like a new class for steam boats?
Couldn't figure out if the guy is also selling those hulls.

By the way, what happened to the Minivap 50 class? Is it still used?

Good evening! :-)
Yes KNO3, the guy manufactures the hulls and can ship it to you. I've bought mine from him and he is serious.
I'm not sure that Minivap still exists. This kind of boat seems to replace it as it also organised by Anton.

Bjorn! If you tell your wife that you travel down here just for steam, I can understand that she won't agree too much! %)
Don't talk of steam to my wife , she thinks I am gardening! :D
Instead you suggest to her a week in France in a place where the weather is fine and the country side romantic.Just you and her! O0
Incidently, you are passing by the lac where some are sailing steam boats and what a surprise,( you sent me a mail a few days before and) I get a boat waiting for you!
 ok2 {-) {-)
Clever , no?
Cheers! :-))

KB10, your previous posts prove to us that you are not so dumb as to really think that your idea would work for Bjorn <*< >>:-(
Bjorn, if you really want to go you should use the motto of my old friend Pat. He is 84 and married for over 60 years to the same lovely lady but when he really wants to go to a sailing day he has his own version of the Nike motto - " JUST DO IT - Its easier to get forgiveness than permission!"  :D Cheers, Ian.

Hehe... *I'm actually living the Nike paradigm - just do it is my life motto*

Now we're getting really off topic, but when my 3rd kid came (4 today...) I realized I needed a sidecar to my main bike.
I had money reserved for a new heating system... well I ordered the sidecar from Seattle for 10000 USD - then I told missus & took the...
The whole first year I presented it as my new heat exchanger    %) %)
(These days she & the kids just love the sidecar and a year later I got the heat exchange system)

So if *I* want to go, I'll go, the problem is how to get her & the smallest ones along ?

Cheers, Bjorn

Good evening Bjorn! :-)
Work it out, this is for the last week of September!
So if *I* want to go, I'll go, the problem is how to get her & the smallest ones along ?
If I can make a suggestion: it has worked good for the side car. :} So buy a second one for the other side and hit the road! {-) {-)
Sorry! I'm gone! %)
regards! ok2
