well done on the tanker its looking great looking forward to the show in march a few of us from kirkleesmodelboat club will be bringing are tugs to have a tow with you

Hi Steve
Hope there will be something for us amateurs to tow as well, can't be doing with all this big stuff so early in the season. I'm hoping to bring my Nantu based tug along to give it it's first work out, I might just stick to sailing it as its only had one short run on a lake so far.

This get really confusing - where have all the Mikes come from? When I was at school I can't remember anyone else being called Mike (or Michael as my mother would put it) Which one of us is going to be 'Old Mike' and Which one 'Young Mike' and what are we going to do with all the other Mikes

I shall be very generous and let you be Old Mike(Michael to your Mother). My Mum had the same problem and was often heard to correct my first wife on the matter.
Just so that you will know who I am when you see me, beneath the broad brimmed hat and the smiling face you will notice a big coat, Australian outback should spring to mind. Bottle of sunscreen in one hand and score sheet in the other. Always cheerful never sad or miserable. Word of caution as my second wife says, never get on the wrong side. I still smile!
The other mikes, you could speak into them, or club them down a plank!

I know in the section our club displays there is a long ramp which is put out for wheelchairs to get up the one step, and there is a lift to where the traders are..

Please don't forget the bring and buy. I'll be there all day Saturday and Sunday. The fee is £3.00 per boat for the two days with no selling fee. Also taken for sale will be anything maritime related and books/magazines, radios, motors etc . Lets  see if last years sales can be broken
