A little more information for those wishing to attend. This event is held in the balmy climes of the indoor 25M pool at South Norwood Leisure Centre. Easy to reach by road or rail, on-site free parking and a very warm welcome.

More information on the leisure centre at this link- http://www.fusion-lifestyle.com/centres/South_Norwood_Leisure_Centre/Facilities

For information on this event and future events please visit our website-

I'm sure we can rustle up a power socket for you. This is the first time we're attending this venue. It's certainly possible at Brockwell and St Albans.

Be aware that we do have to share the pool at this event. The pool is 25 metres long. Not sure on width. However plenty of space for a 1/96th scale Akula.

Past experience has proven that you really don't need a huge space to dive most submarines, what you do need is water clarity and depth.

We should get the whole pool to ourselves for the Brockwell Event pencilled in for the end of March.

Well you wont have to worry about your Akula not surfacing again at any of the Dive Ins, You can always  know where is it and recovery is easy. Pools are great places for running you subs because you can actually see what there are doing below periscope depth. In pond I find I am limited to to a depth where I can see a wake on the surface.

Hello, In 1977 had the use of my local swimming pool (after hours) when I sailed my V11c. It was fantastic, like flying a plane, very good response, down to 13ft & back up again. It is great to see exactly what is happening, far better than the murky water we so often
get & no Weed to contend with. I hope you have an excellent day.  Nemesis
