I think they had a kids yacht thing last year where the kids had to make something that would sail across the pond

Well it's a nice day out in a lovely small town and part of the town party is all the model boats exercise their model boats.
 I'm waiting for more details.....

Great to see this event on the calendar as the guy who I bought my Robbe Lehmar from is from Sherringaham and I said I would bring it to the carnival to play! He too will be sending further information and when I get it I will post it here.

HI ALL well the little show went very well an a good day was had by all an the wheather could not have been better a few pics to show you all
my freind REX with his HMS HERMES IN 1/96 SCALE a fanstastic model

here a couple of pics of my USS NIMITZ model in 1/144 sem scale an she was up the show for water tests an balance tests an if she passed them then she would sail an yes she looks a bit sparce as she needs to have more planes on her.I wil do these over the coming winter time so hopefully nxt yr she should have her full complement of aircraft

an my NIMITZ passed her tests so it was time for a sail she was on the water for about half an hr an no major probs but for some reason i did not know then the aircraft lifts would not work but i know now what the prob was an now its all sorted an they go again ok

Two outstanding carrier builds there Chris  :-)) :-)) :-))  Looking forward to seeing them at shows next year PS enjoy building that airarm in the warmth of your kitchen over the winter...I'll probably be frozen in my shed working on mine  {:-{
