Deans Marine "Victoria & Albert"
« on: April 06, 2011, 04:02:33 pm »

Hello!
A friend of mine came with a Deans Marine catalogue showing the steam launch "Victoria & Albert"   and asking me for my opinion. As I have never seen one of these kits, I couldn't make a statement. That's why I am asking you... I could only find very little information on the internet but it seems to make a pretty nice model!

Hi
I seem to remember many years ago Ron Dean use to take this model to the Cheddar Open week-ends, calling it the company "hack" everone sailed it, it was powered by a Cheddar Puffin, fibreglass hull and deck with wood overlay on the deck.
Cheers

Thanks Mike!
Pretty much less expensive than similar kits... Somehow this one's tempting...
