As you will note from the pictures, the bow skirt does not appear to be accurate. We rectified that feature later, as will be evident in these pictures.

Very Nice.  So what scale is it?  Looks huge with the furniture in the background.

What RC functions are going?

Thanks Trooper. At approximately 1:20 scale, she is rather large for indoor use. ;)

At the moment, we have just 3 Channels allocated - lift, thrust and turn. We plan to modify it later into proportional steering, operating ramps, possibly.............

Thanks!

Having whet our appetite with such a nice model, you've now got to post some video of it in action!

Gentlemen, thank you.

Here is the video. Paucity of space restricted the performance of the model, she needs a free run in a football stadium to show off her true capabilities. That luxury, unfortunately, wasn't at hand. However, she does have a fair nick of speed and is rather agile, as you will notice.

The model was custom built for a client who wanted something rough and ready to be used by people with no experience of handling RC models. Detailing was optional, she had to be built 'unsinkable' and had to be easily repairable. We tried convincing him to spend a bit more on a scale RC Tank, but that wasn't his focus. Furthermore, we couldn't find anything (tanks, jeeps, trucks etc.)  off the shelf in 1:20 scale. Those additions would have been the desirable.

Subdriver,

After having built a masterpiece like that, you are complimenting me on my build??? I have a lot to learn from your humility, Sir. :embarrassed:

Regards.
