Great job Collins, it's really slick.  I've seen several posts regarding bofors here, I'm going to probably build some (low detail version) for a 1/35 scale model.  I was hoping to animate them, you know, servos and all for elevation and rotation, but also planning to animate the barrels probably using electomagnets.  Does the barrel in yours slide and spring operate?

It's tough to emulate the motion, I've done some experimenting, tried compressed air first but that's tough, the coiled wire works but overheats pretty fast.  Any ideas on that or known links?

By the way there is an interesting site (see below) with tanks that have many interesting features, a Bradley whose turret gun fires blanks, and rockets too.  Thanks for any input.  Cap
