Heads up - HMS Ark Royal model urgently sought

Unsure where to put this

A BBC researcher for the One Show is desperately seeking a Hms Ark Royal model as per that being decomissioned.

Filming for the prog is on Monday which will be about the future of Hms Ark Royal now that she has been decommissioned.

They will be interviewing an ex serviceman, ex commander and some of the bidders looking to buy her for various projects. 

It would be enormously useful for monday's shoot if they could borrow a model of the ship to use on camera as a prop during discussions, they are willing to pay a reasonable fee for use of the model for the day.

Very short notice I know, but anyone interested contact me asap via PM and I'll pass on the contact detail.

Anyone who's interested, they ended up having to use a model of Invincible supplied by Portsmouth Maritime museum, the item will be broadcast tonight at 7pm on BBC1.

Hope they switch the pennant numbers to stop the rivet counters jamming the Beeb`s switchboard {-)

Come on Ginge, you mean the "ski-jump", angled deck is something else, as found on real aircraft carriers {-)

Aye but watch for the diet Bru it gives you a more lighter colour if rust :D {-)
