These photos are from the Kiethley 1974 world multi racing championship in which my Father took part and came 3rd.

 This is my dad holding his trophy ( he's the guy in the orange jumper dead centre loosing his hair, well he was dating my mother!)



Now just the rest of the photo's for that event.

If you put those files through Photoshop Elements or something similar you should be able to get most of the original colour back.

I did but I compressed them to upload or this will kill my photobucket bandwidth, each photo was originally 10mb after editing each one came out around the 12mb mark each and i have uploaded 200! so your all gonna have to suffer with lower rez

I just tried one and it certainly improved the colour balance even at low res!

Well I'm not fiddling any more with it I've spent all day scanning each image (one at a time!) and editing them for my dads collection. 200 photos in a day i think i did pretty well, and i still managed to deal with the forum issues, take both kids to school and cook tea!

it's like looking at photos of Formula1 of the era, the boats in those great colours.
