Kirklees Model Boat Club will be holding their annual Open Day on Sunday 10th July 2011 at Wilton Park, Bradford Road, Birstall, Batley WF17 8JH from 9.30 a.m. until 4.00 p.m.   Free parking is available. There will also be a refreshment tent, large raffle, tug towing event, lots of different models to see both on the water and static.  Visiting clubs from the north of England and we hope to have trade support from the following:- Model Boat Bits, Leeds Large Scale Hobbies, Scale Hobbies Skelmersdale, Deans Marine, Mountfleet Models and Warner Marine.  You are more than welcome to come along, bring your boat and have an enjoyable day.  Steam powered models will require any relevant test paperwork will need to be produced prior to sailing.  No IC powered boats allowed and no high performance fast electrics.  If you need to contact me you can go through the Club website at www.kirkleesmodelboatclub.org.uk

Hi Stan, I got you pm, would love to come but i am sailing Loch Ness next week and have had an invite to RNLI,s open day the week after, everything happening all at once!
