RFA "Gold Ranger"
« on: August 03, 2011, 06:55:06 pm »

After 6 years living in the boondocks of Northumberland (the model, not me), the time has come for her to return home.
A short story about this?
The RFA Association has its HQ in Bellingham, a small market town north of Hexham. Nowhere near the sea. (30 miles or so). Located there because the 1st chairman of the RFAA lives nearby. But the sitting chaiman is standing down next year and in all likelihood the Associations HQ will be moving to Portsmouth. In many ways this makes sense. But the last thing I want to see is "Gold Ranger" going down there with the rest of the "stuff". So I'm going up to collect it in a couple of days time. My main reason for leaving it there so long was lack of space for it.....but I've now got temporary use of a 3rd garage that can house it and my trailer while I make some storage shelving in garage no.2. Then I'll have my "fleet" all together again. BY.

I've got to run a message dropping off 6 people in the people carrier at Berwick on Friday Bryan.

If your stuck for transportation I could bring her back down for you on the return that day as 'Bell - in - jum' isn't too far out of the way. No problemo if needed. regards Bry

Thanks for the offer Cloggie but I'll be taking the boat trailer with me...The bits for delivery fit (just) in the back of the car.
I'll also be taking "Baroda" with me mainly just to add a bit more weight to the trailer....and also to show it to a fellow ex-seafarer who wants to see it. Thanks anyway. Enjoy your run. Regards, Bryan.
