Wood Turning is my second passion outside model power boats

Hi Folks

I am relatively new to this excellent forum. Working with wood rocks my boat so to speak whether it be a boat or something on my lathe.
Hopefully these images show some of my turnings: Third passion is photography but I have so much to learn on that front!

Sorry folks the pics I tried to display don't appear to have shown properly. So for anyone interested in wood turning, I will attempt now to display them separately.

Next up is a Mushroom about a foot in height in Yew, finished with finishing oil. Challenge with this piece was to keep the Bark on the exterior surfaces when spinning on the lathe!

Thank you very much for your kind responses.

The Problem I have with this topic is that each time I check to see if the images show, I only get two or three of them which spoils the thrust of my topic.

I hope other viewers don't have the same problem.

I saw all three of them together in your first post all right  (now removed by yourself)  Perhaps it might work better if you reduce their sizes for next time.

I look forward to seeing more of your work. It's gorgeous.   :-))

Thank you all for your really nice comments.

Matching salt and pepper mills seemed to get the best compliments. Making two of a kind for me is very difficult in getting them accurately matched turned by hand. It takes a lot of time with careful measuring and no tooling slip ups.

Perhaps the best pair of mills I've turned are these from Brazillian Mahogany with Sycamore veneer between the blocks of Mahogany:
