Just found this in my hall cupboard, I think it's the hull of the old Tamiya Missouri battleship I built back in the day, the one that foundered...32" long and 3.5" in the beam.
Now...what type of boat could I build on the hull, do you reckon? With a bit of fettling here and there, how about a paddler, there's plenty of room internally for a couple of motors to drive the paddle wheels.
Any other ideas?

At a push, USS Lexington or USS Saratoga, the old 1930s Aircraft Carriers, or how about the Paddle Training Aircraft Carriers used on the Great Lakes during WWII , as featured in Model Boats Magazine some when, a while ago, ish....

Hmm...don't really fancy building a warship, far too many fiddly bits.
