A podcast (or non-streamed webcast) is a series of digital media files (either audio or video) that are released episodically and often downloaded through web syndication. The word replaced webcast in common use with the success of the iPod and its role in the rising popularity and innovation of web feeds. :-))

Hiya Len.

Basically, a recorded radio show that you download online. There's literally millions out there on any subject that you can think of. I've found quite a few for RC cars and planes but as yet, none for boat modelling. They usually last about an hour and have reviews, talks and interviews. They're great to listen to in the car etc. Think of it like an online radio show but devoted to one particular subject.
