I've purchased 2 for my Mersey Build, far better value than other retailers. Ok, so a little marked on the cases but the internals are not water damaged,

i just like this in the notes "I will always obtain proof of postage for each item sent.  However, I cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage caused to items whilst in the postal service.  If either a loss or damage situation arises I will happily provide you with the proof of postage for you to make your own claim to the Royal Mail.

Why do people still put this on as if it does get lost in the post they just file a claim and will get a refund, it is up to the seller to chase the missing item not the buyer.. 8)

However as you say , great feedback..

What are these motors the equivalent of.?

I think you might find these motors are a little to powerful and torquey for the ALR Dave, you need to fit someting like a 600 on 12v really...

Hey Duncan

Ha ha - if I knew what I was doing they might determine the size. At the moment what wil determine the size is how much bottle I've got, or how daft I am %%
Seriously though - would two of these power something at 50ish inches long? - and if so what/how many batteries? I know less about motors and batteries than I do about women - and that knowledge is well out of date anyway <:(

I boughta couple as well. Both run perfectly but I cant seem to stop the coupling working its way up the shaft till it touches the motor as soom as I put power to them. Any suggestions?

Hi PJ

I bought two and have set them aside for future use (not yet determind) as I supposed when I would finally need them they would be sold out.
The kind gent who helped me with my Spraymaster milled a tiny flat on the prop shaft end. I don't know if doing that on the motor end is possible
or whether it would adversely effect balance. Anyway it's something to think about and hopefully you will get a better reply too. What have you got
them in? Got a picture / link?

Regards Dave

This is a handy tool , it is great for putting flats on shafts you just clamp it on and file against it with a swiss file, also hand for holding small parts when grinding I have found plenty of use for this tool.
and yes the motors are the same motor's as sold for a kings ransom by some traders, I am glad this post has not been removed like some of the other ones on this motor from ebay.

Thanks for posting that tool Peter.

I posted up about whether the motors were good value / ok at £12
inc postage and I think I got told they were £38? plus postage. So
they are really great value  :-)) .................. as long as I eventually
use them that is  {-)

At the moment I'd swap one for a packet of Paracetemol though - bad headache.
