Does anyone know of a company producing this gun in 1:96. Or alternatively where I can find some scale drawings?

I think you will find plans on John Lambert's site here  http://www.lambert-plans.com/

  Almost certainly Deans Marine.

There's a couple of good pics at

http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WNBR_3-40_mk1.htm

If they have a copy at your local libarary, drawings of this weapon appear in Conway's "Anatomy of a ship - HMS Campbeltown"
It's the John Lambert drawing and appears on pages 94 - 99.
