hello i dont know if anyone can help my father is building a 1/48 smit rotterdam he wants to put a bow thruster in but doesn't know which would be best has anybody any advise for him thanks neal

Bow thrusters and their fittings have been discussed many times.  The best way is try our search engine on the main page (outside of the forum)

Hi Icebreaker, there are a variety of bow thrusters available,check Cornwall model boats or Westbourne to name but a few. They come in all sizes & price ranges. He will need to connect it to his transmitter to make it function, I would have him contact Dave @ ACTion electronics & he will advise him what he will need to make it operational, Dave might do him a wiring diagram as well. Also do as the guys have suggested search the forum for ideas on how to install it in his boat. Mick B.PS= It takes a bit of nerve to cut the two holes through the hull for the outlets.
