Hi All,
can anyone point me in the right direction? My daughter who is on a thrift drive saw this partly built boat for a few quid in a Cornish Flea Market, and thought it would make good use of my idle hands???

if anyone can tell me what its based on (if anything) I would be very grateful, on Christmas morning I stated that I'd soon licked it into shape nooo problem; what have I done. 

To Prove I know nothing at all about model boat building it's 19 inches long by 6 1/2 inches wide

It appears to be based on a tug. A broad hull with a lot under the water. Its missing a deck house, although the wheel house appears to be present (one less thing to make.

got the beggings of an oldish tug boat ,,ask the bosun ,,he,s on this site ,he knows his tugs ,,good man too with the kits he turns out .

Was Hoping it was a fishing boat, it's not clear in the picture but the oblong on the back slides towards the stern??
