RNLI SOS APPEAL
« on: January 27, 2012, 01:33:09 am »

Hi to all out there, please remember it is the RNLI Annual SOS Day Appeal today Friday 27th January.
This is one of the main fund raising days of the year, and with Lifeboats now costing £2.5 MILLION pounds each, every spare penny counts... Pennies make pounds, so all I can say is please give every spare penny you can to Support Our Service.
I shall be putting on a display of my model lifeboats in the foyer of ASDA Penryn Cornwall,to raise whatever I can.
Thanks to all,
Mick

Just like to say, "thanks for your good wishes"
Also to the people of Falmouth,Penryn and districts who donated the magnificent total of £464.09 to the RNLI SOS Appeal.True generosity,in this economic climate. Thanks must also be said to Asda Penryn, for allowing me to display in their Foyer, and for all their help and support during my 8 hours manning my stand. Thanks must also go to my very patient wife, who is my chauffeur, and willing (most times) assistant. Hopefully I may be able to post a photo of my display tomorrow.
Sincerely,
Mick

A Great display and a truly generous lot the Asda customers are in Penryn.
It makes fundraising so worthwhile when the Public respond in this way.
Well Done Mick (and Mrs Mick!)
