Good morning Ryan, do you have an ETA for New Brighton on Wednesday? and will you be visiting the Hovercraft building at Harrison Drive end of the prom, or the main (RIB) boathouse at the New Brighton end of the prom?
Regards,
Nick.

Ok, we have just hit the 1000 mile mark, heading from mudeford to Poole. Excited for Poole but fear it may take up some timethat we have not got.
Had 2 very long days so far, not getting to hotel until 12 & 1 am.
Had a great few hours in dover, all the crew where there with their family's and we got the chance to go out on the seven to the English channel which was great.

will try get another update later today.

Myself and the esteemed Mr norseman met up with our intrepid travelers at New Brighton lifeboat station. After a brief stop, they sallied forth to Lytham St Annes, helped on their way by a brace of Morrisons hand raised pork pies.

.......and the esteemed Nick very kindly supplied all our pies  O0
He was so good at it that I will name him chief pie bringer for future meetings.
I brought a lot of hot air as usual.

It was nice to see Ryan and his mate giving their time to others - sort of restores your faith in humanity.
We also got to see the New Brighton Hovercraft move off on excersise.
A nice couple of hours spent forgetting about life's problems :-))

Had forgotten about this, and only just picked up on it again............it's been a while, but did you ever get to Fleetwood station Ryan?
waited in my car for a couple of hours over lunch and early afternoon, before I had to pick the kids up from school, with a couple of nice hot pork pies for your lunch, but must have missed you.........mind you, the rain and wind was so bad that day, the car's windows kept steaming up...probably didn't see you in all the mist in front of me, lol........
Mind you......the pork pies didn't go to waste,  %% %% %% %%
they were yummy O0 O0

Let us know how you got on.

Now then boys and girls, firstly apologies for the delay in any replies or updates, been far too busy working and as Nick said going on a holiday.

The challenge went very well, it was hard work and completely underestimated, however we did it and I am very proud of the fact.

We saw many sights and met some great people, the Humber crew was one of the most memorable, had a great evening with them. we were lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time as we got to Dover, we managed to get a ride out with the crew for half an hour which was brilliant.

We had 18 hour days every day and we covered just over 2800 miles and god knows how many cans of red bull.

I am please to say that currently for this challenge I have raised £775, however, as a department with many different events we stand at £3600, the aim is £4000 by the end of Dec.

I took well over 2000 pictures, obviously I will not post them all but will try and put some on here for you.

Thanks for all the support so far and thank you for the pies Nick ;)
