Squires of Bognor
« on: February 08, 2012, 01:46:37 pm »

Hello everyone, My post is in regards to Squires of Bognor Regis. I went down to the shop a couple of weeks ago and spoke to the woman who was serving, she said that the shop is closing but that they will still trade from a Business Unit in Middleton a village just outside bognor. Yesterday I phoned with an order and had know problem getting through, the young lady who took my order was very helpfull but did say that they were very busy at the moment with orders. Please get in touch with them because as the old saying goes you'll lose it, if you abuse it, and none of us want that. Coljan

I am always impressed when our members make every effort to support local business, my grandmother had a saying, 9"you never miss the water until the well runs dry") How true that is. Mick B.

Just a little note of warning for those who are used to a very rapid service from Squires. They are currently running with about a weeks backlog. They are in the process of moving premises and I suspect the 'new' owners have reduced their staffing.
However, the good news is that they are continuing in business, albeit as mail order only, plus attendance at shows. We did think at the end of last year they were closing which would have been serious for those of us without a well stocked model shop near at hand ok2

Here,Here must agree with Barriew,
Have always had a great service from Squires and they deserve our support
Here in Jersey in the Channel islands we dont have a model shop at all so every thing we want we either have to make or order :-))

I bought some stuff from them yesterday at the Brighton Model show, they seemed to be very very helpful. Had a massive range at resonable prices. All good with me
